Title: Post-AGB Circumstellar Winds
Abstract: The high velocity flow off post-AGB objects is an important parameter in understanding the mass loss from these objects. This flow encounters the circumstellar environment in a wind interaction shock zone. The resulting cloud of hot dust is a characteristic of many classes of post-AGB objects. We propose here to use the metastable He I 10830 A line to probe the fast wind and shock zone processes.
