Title: Infrared Spectroscopy of the T-dwarf (epsilon) Indi B

Abstract: In late 2002 a relatively bright T2 dwarf, (epsilon) Indi B, was discovered. The distance and age and hence the luminosity and mass of this dwarf are known, making (epsilon) Indi B an excellent target for detailed observation and modeling. We were able to obtain a spectrum of the CO region with Phoenix in January 2003. We propose continuing our spectroscopy of this dwarf to search for evidence of magnetic activity, to look for changes in radial velocity due to a companion, to check for changes in line strength from possible `weather', and to investigate the atmospheric chemistry and abundances.
