Title: Doppler Imaging of AB Dor Simultaneous with FUSE

Abstract: We request two nights with the 4m echelle to obtain Doppler images of the prototypical ultra rapid rotator AB Doradus. These observations should be simultaneous with planned FUSE observations, which will probe the location of the sub-coronal gas, using the O VI emission. Doppler imaging reveals the locations of the spotted magnetic regions and the H(alpha) prominences. We seek to determine whether the H(alpha) prominences have counterparts in the O VI emission.
