Title: ODI Imaging of Active Asteroids

Abstract: Active asteroids (also known as main-belt comets) provide insight into the physical processes that shape the minor planet population in the inner solar system. ODI provides an ideal wide-field platform in order to detect and characterize these objects, which in some cases can grow to be tens of arcminutes in scale (e.g. A2). We will continue our program of observing active asteroids using ODI in the r’-band. Dark or grey time requested.

Program Type: DD

Scheduled Nights:
Run 1 (2019A):  WIYN/ODI -- 1n on Mar 02 - Mar 03 2019
