Title: H(alpha) Dots II: A New Deep Narrow-Band Imaging Survey with WIYN
Abstract: We wish to continue our new survey for strong emission-line galaxies using the well-established narrow-band filter search technique. This survey utilizes the new narrow-band filter purchased for use with the up- graded ODI focal plane on WIYN. Our survey technique represents an extension of the H$alpha$ Dot survey method to fainter objects and higher redshifts. We expect to detects sources with R magnitudes between 20.0 and 25.0 via a range of emission lines (e.g., H$alpha$, [O~III], [O~II], Ly-$alpha$) and covering a large range of redshifts. The nature of our survey technique will allow us to simultaneously probe the star-formation properties of galaxies over a wide swath of cosmic look back time.
