Title: Probing Dark Energy with z>1 Type Ia Supernova from Subaru/HSC and HST

Abstract: From Novermber 2016, Subaru Hyper-Suprime Cam (HSC) will conduct a rolling search that will discover and study scores of very high quality SNe Ia up to redshift of 1.4. Hubble Space Telescope (HST) will assist their infrared photometry with 96 orbits. We expect to have 120 SNeIa with complete light curve above z>1.0. We would like to have GMOS-S spectroscopic time to select the best supernova candidates from HSC discoveries and send them to HST. In 17A, we are observing COSMOS and expect to have 30-40 good candidates in this period. At the end, we expect to improve the Figure of Merit for Dark Energy by factor of 2.3.
