Title: Angular momentum in triple systems as a diagnostic of their formation

Abstract: Are most stars and planets formed by accretion from regularly rotating cores, as sugested by the Solar system, or is this an exception, while accretion of the misaligned gas is a rule? Statistics of the relative orbit orientation in triple systems offer a clue to this puzzle. The small number of triple stars with known inner and outer orbits will be augmented as a result of this program, thus contributing to the observational tests of star and planet formation theories.
