Title: Searching for Faint Stellar Companions to Transiting Planet Candidates from HATNet with DSSI/WIYN

Abstract: We propose to carry out high-spatial resolution speckle imaging with DSSI on the WIYN~3.5,m of confirmed and candidate transiting planet systems from the HATNet survey. These observations will be used to search for resolved stellar companions to these systems in order to rule out blended stellar eclipsing binary false positives, correct the masses and radii of confirmed planets for dilution from any companions that are found, and to constrain the fraction of hot Jupiter host stars with wide binary companions.
