Title: Identifying New Intermediate-Mass Members of Young Moving Groups

Abstract: The proximity ($<$80~pc) and ages (10-150 Myr) of nearby young moving groups make them excellent targets to directly image self- luminous giant planets and study pre-main stellar and substellar sequence evolution in detail. Hundreds of previously unrecognized M dwarf members have been uncovered over the past few years from dedicated efforts to fill in the low-mass census of moving groups. We have identified a similarly overlooked sample of new intermediate-mass K dwarfs (0.5-0.9 M$_{odot}$) candidates of seven young moving groups selected for their kinematics and activity levels. Here we propose to measure radial velocities for 52 candidates visible in 2016A to confirm their membership, identify close binaries, and lay the groundwork for follow-up adaptive optics imaging planet searches.
