Title: Footprints of the Magnetosphere: the Star-Disk Connection in T Tauri Stars
Abstract: We propose here a synoptic optical/near-IR program with AndiCam on the CTIO 1.3m telescope, in support of approved HST near/far UV and SWIFT X-ray/far UV observations of three T Tauri stars, with the immediate goal of quantifying the variability of both the dust and gas in the disks surrounding these young objects. This multi-wavelength synoptic study will open new insight into how or if accretion onto the star is tied to inhomogeneities in the inner disk, and provide a picture of the largely unknown interaction between dust and gas in the inner $sim$0.5 AU of the disk down to the stellar surface.
