Title: Studying the matter distribution in the bimodal lensing group SA78-SA790

Abstract: We propose to use GMOS and Flamingos 2 to study the total matter distribution of the bimodal lensing group SA78-SA79. This group, at z_phot = 0.74, is a bimodal group with a separation of approximately 70 arcsec (500 kpc), and possibly connected to a large-scale structure. We will use GMOS in multi-slit-spectroscopic mode to measure for the first time the redshifts of the galaxies in the group. And Flamingos2 in Long-Slit mode to obtain the redshift of the gravitational arcs. The data obtained will be used to study the dark matter distribution of the object and to compare with the baryonic mass (gas and stellar) and its distribution. Finally, to search of evidence of mergers and dynamical activity based in the segregation between collisional and collisionless matter.
