Title: Multiple Populations in M31 Globular Clusters

Abstract: We propose to study the stellar populations of globular clusters in M31 in integrated light using the CN red system. Our goal is to investigate three approaches to detecting and measuring gradients in the integrated light of the clusters: HexPak on WIYN with the Bench Spectrograph, ODI on WIYN with the 815 filter to detect CN, and slit spectroscopy with DIS on ARC, again to look for gradients in the integrated CN strength. Each of these approaches has advantages and disadvantages, and we want to observe the same clusters and compare and contrast these approaches to guide us for future observations.

Program Type: ITAC

Scheduled Nights:
Run 1 (2015B):  WIYN/HEXPK -- 2.5n on Oct 18 - Oct 19 2015, Nov 14 2015
Run 2 (2015B):  WIYN/ODI -- 2n on Nov 01 2015, Dec 19 - Dec 20 2015
