Title: Using MCAO to Enable Unique Test of General Relativity at the Galactic Center

Abstract: We propose to construct the first absolute astrometric reference frame of the Galactic center free of systematic errors. This has been made possible by the unique capabilities of Gemini's new MCAO system, which delivers unprecedented spatial point spread function stability over a large field of view. This is the key ingredient that will enable the success of the long-term monitoring effort to test Einstein's theory of General Relativity in an as yet unexplored regime.
