The schooner Goodwill

About this image

The chartered schooner Goodwill was made available to the Kitt Peak expedition to the South Pacific, mounted to observe the solar eclipse of May 30, 1965. Goodwill was 161 foot long, with a 31 foot beam, and was regrettably later lost in a storm off the coast of Baja. From the private collection of Dr Keith Pierce.
