Greetings Liz:

Greetings from Chile, of all my pupils, I hope that you are very well I send you photos of the dark zone that the pupils of your academy have curiosity to knowing I could not approach me enough but from the distance you could be see the forest. From the beach these photos were obtained, they are located on the north of La Serena's beacon in the bay, and to the South of the river Elqui.

I hope that photos have a good support those activities.

Sorry, I had left some photos without sending, I hope that this time you receive them. Today Tuesday, the students will try to complete the guide and are working with the maps of Serena and Tucson. in During the Week I will send more information.

a) Coordinates L-M/2 of the South zone the west, the place is called the Horseshoe, is a small bay where they berth boats of the mining Steel company of the Pacific, the drums are the white zone and his around it is a eucalyptus forest. the rectangles of white color are part of the beach, station of benzine sale, to the front; fields of earth sports and around are populated. We do not know if they were at the moment of the photo.

b) The point purple is one old Manganese company already closed mineral, brought of Andacollo, town that the South - this of Coquimbo has left. this surrounded by a eucalyptus forest. L/2 coordinates

c) The rectangles purples to the east are ready for sowing more of Popes, beetroots, coliflores, beets etc... Coordinates M-N

d) The Zone the northwest by the coast, the strips purples are sand dunes with low scrub and ready for sowing. C/5-6 coordinates

Dear Professor Furnier: We wrote to him from La Serena, to comment that our students have finished their guide to him of Laboratory, now we needed that they send to us you co-ordinate them of or the places that their students do not identify to be able to send photographies to them that show that it exists in those lands. The students of this school, single speak and write Castilian, but with the help of its professors of English and ours (Mónica and Maritza), they tried to communicate with its students, if they send its post office to us, so that they can interact.
