HET Phase II Target List Editor

NOAO is operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA), Inc. under cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation

The HET Phase II Editor is designed to make it easier to prepare and view your HET Phase II Target Lists. You can use it in two ways:

  1. From scratch. You can simply enter the appropriate data into the fields provided, choose View Output, and save the result to your disk.
  2. Upload a pre-existing file. You can upload a file and then edit the existing targets and add new ones using the Add button. Warning: If you are working on the form and then upload a file, any information already in the form will be lost.

Warning: At the moment very little error checking is done on the information in this form. Please familiarize yourself with the Instructions for HET Phase II Submissions before proceeding.

Note 1: Blank entries for Program Name and Instrument setup will inherit the value of the previous target, so you should need to only fill these in once at the top of the form. Any targets that are left completely blank will be ignored--this is useful to know if you've accidentally added too many targets.

Note 2: Please realize that by filling out this form you are not submitting your target list to the NOAO for approval. To do that you need to save the file generated by the View Output button to disk, and go through the process outlined in Instructions for HET Phase II Submissions.
