SiC Segment Development

The documents linked below present background material and results from an investigation of silicon carbide mirror segments conducted by the AURA New Initiatives Office. The project was initiated in late 2003. A request for proposals was issued in January 2004, and three vendors were selected. Their work was completed in November 2004; summaries are linked below.
