What is the fraction of brown dwarfs in open clusters as a function of age?

By observing faint brown dwarf candidates (>18th mag in Pleides and Hyades) at R ~ 5000, the presence of lithium serves as a signature of a positive detection. Does the fraction of brown dwarfs depend on the age and/or metallicity of the cluster? The differences in the brown dwarf luminosities across clusters of different ages provides a measure of the gravitational contraction times.
