Assignments are subject to review and change on a regular basis.
Research fractions are budgeted research fractions – achieved research fractions are usually lower (see NOAO Annual Reports).
Only primary Current Assignments are listed. Most scientists have secondary assignments as well. In some cases, staff members have assignments in different areas and are listed twice.
Most scientists at NOAO are funded through the Cooperative Agreement between AURA and NSF. However, a few scientists (especially Research Associates, i.e. "post-docs") are supported by supplementary NSF and/or NASA funds.
