| The mode parameters from the medium-degree modes also vary with magnetic activity. Because different modes sample different latitude ranges, we can invert to find the latitudinal distribution of such shifts at the surface. Here we show the results for frequency shifts (in microHertz, top), line widths (center, in microHertz), and amplitudes (bottom, in 1030 erg). These results were averaged over modes with l=40-80 and n=8-10. For more detail, see Howe et al. (2002), Komm et al. (2002). | |
