Title: Redshifts of strongly lensed multiple image systems in a high redshift double cluster

Abstract: High redshift clusters with lensed giant arcs are very rare systems. Their masses and strong lensing cross-sections are a sensitive function of cosmology, which makes the abundance of massive clusters a prime cosmological tool. Recently, observations show an excess of strong lensing clusters at high redshifts. Yet this may be a consequence of boosted lensing cross-sections due to enhanced sub-structure or core densities. Studying high-redshift strong lensing clusters is therefore crucial in understanding these effects, and we can learn about their formation. Unfortunately only two dozen such clusters at z>0.6 are known, and only few of them have been investigated in more detail. We propose to obtain spectroscopic redshifts with SOAR/OSIRIS for 2 giant arcs as well as 9 arclets and possible counter images in J2241-0919A/B, a particularly interesting double cluster at z=0.66.
