Title: Follow-up and Confirmation of Transiting Planet Candidates From the KELT Survey

Abstract: The KELT survey uses wide field telescopes in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres to detect transiting planets around bright (8 < V < 10.5) stars. Transiting planets around bright stars are especially valuable for further scientific analysis. From the KELT light curves we have identified a large number of promising transit candidates, which now require radial-velocity observations to eliminate common false- positives and to verify as exoplanets for future detailed study. We also seek here to acquire full, high-precision radial velocity orbits for a small number of planet candidates that have already passed initial vetting. This proposal deals with the spring/summer targets for our ongoing campaign of transit candidate followup. We previously received NOAO observing time in 2011B on these facilities for the fall/winter targets.
