Title: Searching for High Velocity Jets in DCE185 - The Only VeLLO with H_2 Jet Detection
Abstract: We propose to observe VeLLO DCE185 at [Fe II] band using NIRI on Gemini North. DCE185 is the only VeLLO showing clear outflows and jets in Spitzer IRAC2 band centered at 4.5 um which includes seven H_2 emission lines. Our CFHT emission survey toward 20 low luminosity protostars also detected clear precessing jets from DCE185. Since DCE185 is possibly the only VeLLO with bipolar jets, observations toward DCE185 provide an excellent opportunity for understanding the properties of very young jets and outflows. [Fe II] is believed to be the high velocity jet tracer in near infrared, thus our proposed observation provides the opportunity to detect high velocity jets in a VeLLO.
