Title: Young and Highly Obscured Radio Feedback Candidates in the WISE Survey

Abstract: Powerful radio jets may play an important role in quenching star formation in massive galaxies at z>1, and the formation of the red sequence, yet objects in the throws of radio feedback are rare because the phase is expected to be short lived. We have correlated the NVSS and FIRST radio surveys with the new WISE all-sky mid-infrared survey to search for z>1 core-dominated radio galaxies and quasars which are good candidates for being highly dust-shrouded and mid-IR luminous young AGN with powerful kpc-scale jets. We propose spectroscopic observations of 40 of the most promising of these to determine redshifts and excitations, with the goal of observing the most promising candidates with ALMA to directly search for outflows in molecular gas.
