Title: The dark matter density of elliptical galaxies in voids
Abstract: We propose to collect diffraction-limited K-band images of 5 ellipticals in \it voids, for which we have extended long slit kinematics, using Altair and Adaptive Optics with Laser Guide Star. This will allow us to complete the stellar dynamical modeling of the objects and derive the dark matter densities of their halos. They constrain the predictions of galaxy formation models in low density environments, where one expects dark matter halos to form at z~ 1, in contrast to the already probed cluster environment, where halos form z\ge 2.
