Title: Pulsating White Dwarf search in COROT's field
Abstract:
We propose to search for pulsating white dwarfs in the Galactic
center and anti-center. We will search in two 1 x 2 degrees fields that
will be observed by the exoplanet field of the COROT satellite. This
satellite will observe each of these fields for six months, non stop.
The detection of a single pulsating white dwarf in one of these fields
would allow us to obtain time series data of unprecedented quality and
length ever obtained for any pulsating white dwarf.
