Title: Transiting Hot Jupiters, XO Candidates
Abstract: The objective of this proposal is radial-velocity followup of potential planetary companions discovered by photometric transits from our XO survey of 36000 stars with V< 12. Like the transiting hot Jupiter (THJ) HD 209458b these new planets will be useful for detailed studies to be done with existing telescopes such as HST, Keck and the VLT.
