Robert Wilson
Senior Program Coordinator
Robert has worked in the teaching and programs fields since 1992 after being graduated from California State University, Long Beach. Moving to Tucson two years later, he eventually took up amateur astronomy in 1999 and then joined Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association. Through the club he discovered Project ASTRO and through that connection came to be employed by NOAO. Robert finds that making astronomy his profession and his hobby has not diminished his passion for it but only enhanced his sense of wonder at the vastness, complexity, and beauty of the universe. He still participates in Project ASTRO and is still an active member of the amateur astronomy club, looking forward to those cold clear nights at his favorite dark site.
