CELEBRATION OF SATURN
This year, why not give your Mother a ring for Mother’s Day? A ring over 80,000 miles wide!
Riding high in the sky at midnight, the most beautiful planet of all graces us with its beautiful butterscotch glow. Come and see it with us! Legend, Lore, History and Science all blend together in this special presentation to welcome the Solar System’s most memorable member back to our spring skies. Saturn will be a favorite object to observe for many weeks to come in our Night Observing Program, but this program is focused on it almost exclusively.
Adults and families with children are encouraged to attend. Minimum age is 6 years old.
Reservations required. A boxed dinner will be provided.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
You may cancel at any time up to 48 hours prior to the program date without any penalty. A $20 per person cancellation fee will be charged for those who cancel less than 48 hours prior to the program date. If we are forced to cancel the program ourselves, you will not be charged anything.
On the day of the program we will make a “weather call” and determine if the program will proceed as scheduled or not. Assuming the weather cooperates, the per-person fee will be charged automatically at this time. You will receive a copy of your receipt at check-in time.
If a last-minute emergency or other situation comes up so that some or all of your group cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible. It may save you money, and will allow us to fill the empty space with others from our waiting list.
We are very sorry, but this program is not handicapped accessible. You must be able to climb one flight of stairs and spend at least ½ hour standing on your feet.
- DRESS WARM! Hats gloves scarves closed shoes and layered clothing required! It can still be VERY COLD on Kitt Peak in early May! Thermal undergarments might be very useful on this night.
PLEASE DO NOT:
