The Kitt Peak Experience… Like no other
Public Programs
In addition to the highly successful Nightly Observing Program (NOP) and Advanced Observing Program (AOP), the Kitt Peak Visitor Center is offering several classes. These will take place periodically throughout the year. Our programs tend to fill up fast especially the ones centered around celestial events. - NEW! SPACE WEATHER: A Cosmic One of a Kind Expericence. Flares, CME's and Aurora Oh MY! How does what happens in space affect the Earth? Find out in our Space Weather program. This is a day program on the Sun. Click here for more info and dates.

- NEW! FULL MOON MADNESS: An Out of this World One of a Kind Experience. Don't think planets are the whole story of the solar system! The moons are where it's happening!
