Asteroid Quest
If you have an interest in flying space rocks, please sign up for this unique program! Travel to Kitt Peak and take part in a hunt for asteroids. Learn to use CCD cameras, astrometry software, and the data reduction techniques needed to track known asteroids and possibly discover new ones. We will also feature a special tour of Spacewatch - the asteroid tracking facility run by the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory of the University of Arizona, in conjunction with NASA.
