You asked for it now you got it! For those who want a more in depth viewing experience. This program is held monthly around the new moon. It is not recommend for beginners. The Advanced NOP covers topics more in depth and concentrates more on telescope viewing. There is no weather option with this program.

No-shows will be assessed the entire fee. There is a 48 hr cancelation with this program. Program fees will not be charged if we cancel the program due to weather or equipment problems.
The Advance NOP comes with a box dinner.
Due to the popularity of our world renowned programs, we recommend that you make your reservation one month in advance if possible (especially January-May).
The Summit of Kitt Peak is at 6,875'. Mountain environments may vary from windy conditions to extremely cold temperatures, so please dress warmly in layers (hats gloves, blankets etc.). In the winter temps can get as low as the teens. Mountain temps are 15 to 20 degrees cooler than Tucson. The domes are not heated.
