In this “information” age, building your skills base to look for the answers is far more important than knowing the answer. Through years of experience in both the public and private sectors, Kathie brings a breadth of first-hand knowledge that tests her philosophy. Her recommendation to students of all ages is to assemble a personal “tool box” that includes qualities like communication and listening skills, tenacity, perseverance, flexibility, humor, compromise, and curiosity.
