General Information about the Kitt Peak Visitor Center Observatory
- Geographic Position
- 31d 57m 30.32s North Latitude
- 111d 35m 53s West Longitude

- Roll-off Roof (ROR) Observatory: Artifical horizon to be determined.
- 16" SCT Observatory: Clear to the horizon in most directions, including the southern horizon.
Always bring very warm clothing to the mountain! The temperature on Kitt Peak averages 15-20 degrees cooler than in Tucson.
