Mary's Star



This is an image of the field as recorded by the Digitized Sky Survey (DSS). The DSS was originally put togther by astronomers as an all-sky tool that allows a person to capture a piece of sky down to a limiting magnitude in order to measure positions or to be used as old image to compare with new data.

Your star is indicated by the arrow in the center of the this selected field. It is a 12.8 magnitude star that would require a small telescope (and a dark sky) in order to be seen.
