The NOAO System Technology Center (NSTC) is a group of scientists, and engineers that work together designing new telescopes, and upgrading existing telescopes with new instruments. Employees are located in Tucson, Arizona.
Recently NSF awarded NOAO additional money to construct instruments recommended by the ReSTAR Committee. Other funds come from NSF funding. The LSST Program also has funding from private sources. For additional information on the LSST Telescope Program, please visit the LSST website.
The Telescope System Instrumentation Program (TSIP) Program is also a part of the NSTC group. For additional information on TSIP, please visit the TSIP website.
