Hiking
Hiking is the summer activity I liked most in Calgary. The summer weather in Calgary is really pleasant. In the summer of 2002, My friends and I went on several hikings. All the pictures I took were slides but I hope to make scanned versions someday. Until then, please see my friend (became husband in 2005) Steven Gibson's page for other hike photos.

Since I moved to Tucson, I have been on a few hikes in the mountains and deserts. Quite opposite to Calgary, summer is definitely not a good time to go hiking in Tucson. Except for the few months that are too hot to even consider going outside, the weather is pretty nice for hiking. The desert scene is really spectacular. But then again, all the pictures I took are slides, still waiting quietly to be scanned someday.
