The Academy Village is located some 25 miles from down town Tucson, off of Old Spanish Trail 7 miles beyond the entrance to the Saguaro National Park East.
In the map below it's location is indicated by the red oval. The Rincon Mountains North and East of the Village are one of the scenic attractions to the site.
The map shows most of the east side of Tucson. The Arizona University Campus is just to the left of the large T in TUCSON, between Speedway and 6th Avenue North South and between Campbell and Euclid East West. Down town Tucson is a mile west of Euclid along Broadway to the I10 Interstate. The scale of this map can be judged from the fact that Major streets indicated on this map are 1 mile apart. The location of Academy Vllage with respect to some land marks is given in the list below.

Within 7 miles of the entrance to Academy Village where the Model Homes are located are the following:
* Mari Stitt comments that Bashas has a web site www.bashas.com providing additional information on these Arizona stores. The local phone number is 882-4098.She notes another store which like Bashas has quality better than most grocery stores is Schwans. Schwans is a nation wide chain and has a web site at www.schwans.com. The local agent for Schwans is Don Little at 519-4217.
Other facilities of interest are the Pantano Clinic at 22nd and Pantano which is 13.5 miles from Academy Village. It is nearest of the University Medical Center clinics.
The University of Arizona Science & Technology Park is located on Rita Rd. just south of Valencia and is 12.5 miles from the Village. Before the Academy has it's own meeting rooms etc. this provides one meeting center.
Pima College East is 11 miles from the Village on Irvington near Pantano. We can take classes in Art, Spanish, begining computers etc. They also have fitness classes including Tai Chi.
Academy Village is located 22 miles from the University of Arizona Campus it is 25 miles from the Civic Center in down town Tucson and 23 miles from the Tucson Airport.
