KPNO Observing Proposals for Spring 1995:...(1Sep94) Part I - How to Get the Proposal Form (from KPNO, NOAO Newsletter No. 39, 1 September 1994) Observing time at Kitt Peak National Observatory is allocated via peer review twice a year, and proposals for the period 1 February-31 July 1995 are due by 30 September 1994. KPNO accepts proposals either on paper or in electronic form using the LaTeX template available over the network. We do, however encourage electronic submission of proposals using the LaTeX version (only) of the form. To obtain the LaTeX form, use anonymous ftp to ftp.noao.edu (or 140.252.1.24) in the kpno/kpnoforms subdirectory. Retrieve all files with mget *, and refer to the README file for instructions. Alternatively, the files will be automatically e-mailed to you if you send a (blank) e-mail message to kpnoprop-request@noao.edu. To ensure that your electronically submitted proposal will be in a format which you wish to have evaluated by the TAC, we strongly urge that you generate a hardcopy of your proposal for proofreading before submitting it.
