Cooperative Agreement Renewal Proposal (1Sep93) (from the Director's Office, NOAO Newsletter No. 35, 1 September 1993) AURA operates NOAO under a Cooperative Agreement with the National Science Foundation. The current five-year agreement extends until the end of the 1994 fiscal year. The AURA and NOAO staffs have collaboratively prepared a proposal to the NSF for renewal of the cooperative agreement for another five-year period. The occasion of the proposal provides the opportunity to assess the recent accomplishments of the Observatories and to articulate the vision that forms the basis for long-term planning.
