Astronomer Tools (1Mar93)

So it's a cloudy night on Kitt Peak, and you have a proposal that has
to go in tomorrow. Or you would like to graph the observations you took
last night in order to send them off to Astronomical Telegrams. The
tools to do these tasks are now available on the Sun workstations on
Kitt Peak.

Among the applications we have installed are TeX, LaTeX, associated
tools for displaying and printing postscript files, mongo and its
descendents, itroff, and the Emacs editor. All of the applications are
in a directory which is automatically in an observer's path at login.
You should only have to type the name of the application. A brief
description of what is available is posted in each control room.

Please let us know if there is other software that we should make
available.
