Gamma Ray Burst 981220

RXTE has reported a position for this burst, and the Interplanetary Network provides an independent constraint.

Here is a Postscript finding chart of the HST Guide Stars in the field. The image is 8.5 arcminute in size. The diamond shows the intersection of the IPN and RXTE ASM error boxes. The "x" marks the center of this error box.

The filled circles are HST guide stars, with size indicating magnitude. Here is a text listing of the same stars to allow their easy identification for astrometry.
