Registration and Banquet

Belton Symposium: Journey Through the Solar System, Nov. 10 to Nov. 11, 2006

For Symposium registration and/or to attend the Banquet, please
(a) electronically submit the Registration & Banquet Form (see below) and
(b) pay the amount due using a credit card by cutting and pasting the secure payment URL which will appear in the confirmation message of your registration. After you provide the credit card information, you should receive a confirmation email in a few business days.

Special Notes:

To avoid possible confusions, please fill out a Registration and Banquet Form (which includes Menu Selections) for each person.
You can participate at the Banquet without participating at the Symposium or vice versa.
The Symposium Registration Fee will cover coffee breaks and lunches on both days. Spouses and friends of symposium registrants are required to pay registration fee ONLY if they are going to be present for coffee breaks and/or select lunch from the Symposium Lunch Menu. Registrants who pay registration fees will be issued special lunch tickets based on their choices from the Symposium Lunch Menu. Banquet is not included in the Symposium Registration Fee (banquet information is near bottom of the page).

Symposium Lunch Menu:

All choices will include freshly brewed regular, decaffeinated coffee, and assorted teas. All Symposium attendees and spouses/guests who need lunches should choose from the following choices.

November 10 (Choose one):

Sonoran Cobb Salad (Grilled Chicken, Tomato, Avocado, Queso Fresco, Bacon and Tortilla Strips, Chipotle Chile Ranch Dressing, Freshly Baked Assorted Rolls and Butter)
Vegetarian Sonoran Cobb Salad (same as above without Chicken and Bacon)
Vegetarian Pasta Primavera (Fusilli Pasta Tossed with Medley of Garden Fresh Vegetables and Herbs and Light Parmesan Cream Sauce)

November 11 (Choose one):

Topopo Salad (Crisp Flour Tortilla Filled with Seasoned Black Beans, Shredded Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado and Sour Cream, Fresh Tortilla Chips and House Salsa Preset on Tables with Chicken (Pollo Asada))
Vegetarian Topopo Salad (without Chicken) (same as above without Chicken)
Prickly-Pear Chicken Sandwich (Citrus-marinated Frilled Chicken with Prickly-Pear Glaze, Crisp Bacon and Montery Jack Cheese on a Sourdough Roll Served with Frech Fries and Prickly-Pear Aioli)

Banquet Information

The Banquet will be held at the Westward Look Resort on November 10th. Banquet fee is $50. A cash bar will be available during the banquet. Deadline for banquet reservation and payment is October 31, 2006.

All banquet choices will include a salad, freshly baked rolls and butter, a dessert (Strawberry Amaretto Torte), and freshly brewed regular, decaffeinated coffee and assorted teas.

Banquet choices (Please choose one only if you will be attending the banquet):

Pistachio crusted Mahi Mahi with steamed Jasmine rice and roasted pineapple sauce
Roasted breast of Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and Madeira mushroom herbed jus
Chef's choice vegetarian entree

All requests must be send to loc2006@psi.edu with a copy to loc2006@noao.edu

Symposium Registration Fee:

Before Oct 20: full amount minus $10 processing fee
Before Nov 5 (and after Oct 20): full amount minus $25 processing fee

Banquet Fee:

Before Nov 5: full amount

Completed meal requirements have to be provided to the Resort on Nov 6. Therefore, no requests for refunds are accepted after Nov 5.
