Transportation:

Getting to Tucson:

The best way to get to Tucson is to fly into Tucson international airport. Cheaper international flights may be available into Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix but a 2 hour shuttle bus ride will be needed to get from the airport to Tucson and an additional taxi ride will be needed to get to the Hotel from the bus stop.

Getting to the Marriott University Park:

By Car:

Directions to the Marriott University Park from Tucson airport or from other locations by car can be found here.

By Taxi:

A taxi from the airport will cost approximately $30 dollars and will take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Airport taxi information can be found here.

By Shuttle Bus:

Arizona Stagecoach offers service from Tucson airport to any location in town. Reservations are recommended and travel times may exceed those in a taxi because multiple destinations will be visited on every trip. One-way tickets from the airport to the Marriott cost $24.

Parking at the Marriott University Park:

Parking costs $11 daily, but is free on Saturdays and Sundays.

Transportation around Tucson:

The easiest way to get around Tucson is by car, although there is a public bus system. Taxis are also available to get around but usually have to be ordered since it is hard to flag them down on the street.

Meals:

At the conference:

Your registration fee includes breakfast, a morning coffee break, lunch on the 14th and 18th (for First Light and Eventful Universe participants), an afternoon coffee break, and a reception on Wednesday evening. Lunches on days other than the first day are on your own.
