M81 and M82 from the KPNO 0.9-m Telescope

A BVR image of M81 and M82 taken at the KPNO 0.9-m in June 1999. This one-degree square image was made from a dithered sequence of 5 300s exposures using the KPNO 8K x 8K CCD Mosaic imager, and processed using the IRAF Mosaic package MSCRED. Image taken by George Jacoby.
