How to Obtain the IRAF MSCRED Reduction Software For Mosaic


IRAF is composed of a core system and a set of what are called "external" packages. These packages are distributed via ftp from iraf.noao.edu and mirrors sites around the world. The external packages are to be found at:


ftp://iraf.noao.edu/iraf/extern/


Some packages are in that directory and others have a subdirectory. For the mosaic software you want the files
