This manual describes the operation of the Burrell Schmidt telescope. The Burrell Schmidt telescope is used primarily with a large-format CCD for wide-field imaging. If you find errors, or feel that there is other information that you would find useful, please send electronic mail to the first author (pmassey@noao.edu).
The most up-to-date version of this manual may be obtained via anonymous ftp to ``ftp.noao.edu", cd kpno/manuals, binary, get schmidt.ps.Z as shown in Fig. 1. The text is ``compressed" to save space and to make the transfer faster; you will have to uncompress it as shown before printing it out.
