The slit specifications are given below and the stellar and comparison decker dimensions are listed in table 2 and table 3. There are two decker plates available; decker plate No. 1 is a conventional decker plate with comparison slots for photographic use. Decker No. 2 has no comparison slots and is used mainly with CCDs. It has two sets of openings to accomodate different seeing and demagnifications. When setting the slit width, close it all the way and then open it up to the desired width. Although the slit width will indicate down to 0.0 mm, the minimum opening is 27 microns.
