My apologies on the phantom
second instrument request. I
was getting a cryptic
error and thought it didn't
like the 2nd instrument being
left at its default value.
Now I can't figure out how to
clear it.
We request a central wavelength of ~5300 A, but most critical is that the blue end of the wavelength range extends to 3900 A so we are sensitive to CaII H&K absorption at z~0. We also request that the BG-39 filter be placed in front of the FOPS so that we are guiding at the same wavelengths that we're observing.
