Eight undergraduates in CTIO's summer student program

The CTIO summer students for 2004 comprised six U.S. students from the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supported by the National Science Foundation, and two Chilean undergraduates from the Practicas de Investigacion en Astronomia (PIA).

From left to right: Luke Galli (Colorado College), Barbara Rojas (Universidad de Chile), Alice Globus (Wells College), Kyle Walker (Ohio State University), Javier Fuentes (Universidad de La Serena), Melissa Rice (Wellesley College), Rebecca Barlow (Mount Holyoke College), and Ethan Knox (Humboldt State University).
